Return policy

When you purchase items from, you are entitled to return your purchase during a period of 14 calendar days, calculated from the day following the day on which you received the Product in your capacity as a customer. This applies for all products except for our gift cards, which are not refundable or exchangeable.

Currently we offer free returns for Belgium, France, Luxembourg and The Netherlands. If you are located outside of these regions, return costs are carried by the customer. You can choose your own shipping method, but we strongly recommend shipping with tracking option, as you are responsible for the package until it reaches our offices.

Product(s) which you wish to return must satisfy the following conditions:

    • It must be in new condition.
    • It must include the Essentiel price tag and brand label.
    • It must be unworn, unwashed and undamaged.
    • It must be complete (i.e. together with all items such as a belt, keychain etc. which came with the original product).
    • It must be packaged in a sufficiently sturdy box (we recommend neutral, not showing a logo), so that we receive the product in an undamaged condition.

Essentiel reserves the right to reject the return of products which are not returned in accordance with our Returns Procedure and we may request that you pay for the shipping of such goods back to you.

How does this work in practice?

1. Within 14 calendar days, complete the return form on the website from which you purchased the product. Print out the fully completed return form and alternatively our address label. 

    • Log in using the details you used when you purchased the product
    • Go to ‘My account’ and, in the menu on the left-hand side, select ‘My orders’
    • Select the order you wish to return and click on ‘Return’
    • Complete the returns document in full and print it out
    • Alternatively, declare in writing which products (by name, color, size) you are returning and in which quantity


2. Within 14 days of completing the returns form, you must return your order accompanied by the original sales invoice (of which you must retain one copy) and the fully completed returns document. Please use the below address (or print out the label) and a tracked shipment method, to assure we get your returns:

    • Any returns for which the sender cannot be identified will be refused, so make sure you always enclose the returns slip.
    • No returns can be accepted via the Essentiel Stores.
    • Returns outside these timeframes may be accepted only at the discretion of Essentiel Antwerp. 


3. If your returned package reaches us within 14 days, in accordance with the conditions above, we will arrange for a refund within 14 calendar days. We reserve the right to only make a refund when the goods have reached us.

    • If you paid for your order by credit card, the credit card you used to pay for the products returned will be credited, less any sums due.
    • If you paid for your order by some other form of payment, the refund will be made by means of a transfer to the bank account number you stated on the returns document.


Please note: you will only be reimbursed the original delivery charge where you exercise your statutory right to cancel as described below.  In all other cases return postage costs will NOT be refunded. In the case of returns, you will only be refunded the value of the goods ordered.

The consumer is entitled to inform the company that he or she wishes to revoke the purchase, without paying a penalty or stating the reasons for doing so, within 14 calendar days calculated from the day following the delivery of the goods.
