When you purchase items from www.essentiel-antwerp.com, you are entitled to return your purchase during a period of 14 calendar days, calculated from the day following the day on which you received the Product in your capacity as a customer. This applies for all products except for our gift cards, which are not refundable or exchangeable.
As our gift cards are a personalized form of credit, and differ from the products Essentiel sells online, our return policy does not apply to gift cards. Gift cards cannot be returned or exchanged for cash or any other forms of payments, not even partially.
A product which you wish to return must satisfy the following conditions:
- It must be in new condition.
- It must include the Essentiel price tag and brand label.
- It must be unworn, unwashed and undamaged.
- It must be complete (i.e. together with all items such as a belt, keychain etc. which came with the original product).
- It must be packaged in a sufficiently sturdy box (we recommend neutral, not showing a logo), so that we receive the product in an undamaged condition.
How does this work in practice?
1. Within 14 calendar days, complete the return form on the website from which you purchased the product. Print out the fully completed return form, as well as the return address label. If you reside in BeNeLux or France, you can make use of our free returns service (with Kiala only) by printing out Kiala label.
- Log in using the details you used when you purchased the product
- Go to ‘My account’ and, in the menu on the left-hand side, select ‘My orders’
- Select the order you wish to return and click on ‘Return’
- Complete the returns document in full and print it out
- Alternatively, declare in writing which products (by name, color, size) you are returning and in which quantity
- If you wish to use free returns service (via Kiala only), you must also print out the Kiala label with barcode
2. Within 14 days of completing the returns form, you must return your order accompanied by the original sales invoice (of which you must retain one copy) and the fully completed returns document.
- You can hand in your package at a Kiala collection point, together with the label which you printed out when you completed the returns slip. If you use this method, the package is returned free of charge.
- Alternatively, you can send the package (at your own expense) to:
- Any returns for which the sender cannot be identified will be refused, so make sure you always enclose the returns slip.
- No returns can be accepted via the Essentiel Stores.
- Returns outside these timeframes may be accepted solely at the discretion of Essentiel Antwerp.
3. If your returned package reaches us within 14 days, in accordance with the conditions above, we will arrange for a refund within 14 calendar days. We reserve the right to only make a refund when the goods have reached us.
- If you paid for your order by credit card, the credit card you used to pay for the products returned will be credited, less any sums due (discounts or gift cards used to pay for the order).
- If you paid for your order by some other form of payment, the refund will be made by means of a transfer to the bank account number you stated on the returns document.
In the case of returns, you will only be refunded the value of the goods ordered. Return postage costs will only be reimbursed if you received a product which was not the product you ordered or if the product was damaged when you received it or when you exercise your statutory right to cancel the order, as described below. In all other cases return postage costs will NOT be refunded.
|The consumer is entitled to inform the company that he or she wishes to revoke the purchase, without paying a penalty or stating the reasons for doing so, within 14 calendar days calculated from the day following the delivery of the goods.|
